Dating back to before Tudor times Simnel Cake is now traditionally eaten at Easter to celebrate the end of the 40 days of Lent.

This delicious light fruit cake has a layer of almond paste baked into the middle. On the top of this loaf cake the eleven apostles have been replaced by three bunnies!
