PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Pre-order only! Please select a delivery date with min. 3 days prior to the date required. Beluga caviar comes from the Huso huso sturgeon which can reach a maximum length of 8 meters and a weight exceeding 1.5 tons!
Originally from the Black Sea, the Caspian Sea and the D’Azov Sea, it was also found in the Adriatic and Ionian, and in the rivers connected to these seas before becoming extinct. It is the rarest and hence the most expensive caviar available and is characterized by large eggs (over 3 mm) which tend to be oval, with a colour ranging from pearl grey to dark grey which are harvested from the sturgeon after an average of 20 years.
All our caviar comes from one of the most highly regarded sustainable farms in Italy certified “GlobalGAP” and “Friend of the Sea”.
